China Cafe Lecture - 11-18-07
The China Cafe held its second lecture and tea yesterday in a program called “China Tea Culture”. Students learned about tea drinking, tea tasting (a different activity), about the spirit of tea, and tea in the world. After the 30 minute lecture, presented by a GSM0002 Aabye, an English teacher in Shanghai, the group adjourned to the garden for virtual tea and conversation. This lecture was a good success, as it was attended by approximately 20 persons, including a number of Chinese adult learners.
